Adidas Women’s Avacourt Tennis Shoes

Adidas Women’s Avacourt is a revolutionary tennis shoe created with female athletes in mind. It has a supportive mesh upper to promote agile movement on the court, and its Abrasion-resistant Adituff wraps around the toe and medial forefoot for added protection. It is made with dual-density Bounce Pro cushioning to give the right balance between energy return, cushioning, and support, while the rubber outsole ensures excellent grip. Additionally, it has an upper made with at least 50% recycled content, to help reduce plastic waste. This shoe not only meets the needs of female athletes but is also an environmentally conscious choice.

The design of this shoe is tailor-made for female athletes, with a lightweight Bounce Pro midsole cushioning and TPU Torsion System providing comfort and optimal support. Moreover, the extra soft collar materials reduce any friction around the ankle for an improved experience.

Way too small and they feel cheap
I have worn a women’s 10 for decades. These shoes look and feel like cheap plastic shoes, no support and about a size too small.

Very poor shoe quality
I bought them in August for my daughter. She started using them in September to play tennis and they are already broken. My daughter wore them an average of 3 times a week for tennis. The shoes already have holes and they did not last even 3 months. If you are going to buy a tennis shoe this is not the one.

Falling apart

It is comfy but runs long
They are some of the best tennis shoes I have ever owned, light weight, comfy, not too narrow/wide. I saw from other reviews that they tend to run long so I ordered half size smaller and they fit perfectly.

Comfortable and cute
Great tennis shoes. I also have a pair of Nike and these are much more comfortable. Great design and fit. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and the 7 1/2 fit best for me. Hard to find at an adidas store in this color combination but glad i found on Amazon.

Terrible shoes
Too stiff, lacing configuration is ridiculous, the synthetic cover allows spills, dirt to penetrate underneath and they are impossible to clean. I would never buy these shoes again or recommend them to anyone.

Toe box too roomy.
I love the color and always purchase adidas. These were very disappointing. The laces begin too high on the toe box and too far from the tip of the shoe making it impossible to tighten the shoe around the ball of foot and toes. I am a solid size 10 woman’s, but the 10 was too short and the 10.5 was the perfect length but way too roomy in width. They also look and feel large and clunky. I bought them for hard court tennis because I’ve had great success with adidas and this style for years in the past.

Perfect pair

Holes after 2 months
I bought these shoes for my daughter for Christmas. She plays tennis a few times a week and they are already falling apart. They have holes in the top and getting a hole in the toe area. I just feel like it’s hey should last longer than two months.

Great pickleball shoe for platar fasciitis
Got these for pickleball because the reviews said they had a lot of support and they do! I’m 30 y/o and dealt with plantar fasciitis for years and didn’t feel a thing with these. Heads up though, they do get very dirty.

Size down one size for the perfect fit
I had been looking to switch from the New Balance 996v3 (after buying every last pair on ebay), and tried these out. I think they fit comparably, no breaking in and feel great on.Only issue I saw was that they run a size large. I am usually a 8.5 (B) but they were too roomy in the toe box and too long. I sized down to an 8 and the fit is perfect.

Good fit, come a bit wide.
They run a bit wide but are comfortable from first use. The shoe tongue is a bit long & high and irritates the ankle so higher socks are recommended.

The Tongue Kills This Otherwise Great Shoe
REALLY like this shoe, but had to return. It had superior stability for my long, flat, pronating foot w/bunion. But here’s a newsflash Adidas: either make the tongue shorter OR out of a super soft, padded material! I have long, slender legs and feet, so even on me the tongue was high, THEN when put with the very stiff material that has a sharp, hard, heat-crimped edge, it was incredibly uncomfortable. Because of those things, you can’t tie it tight enough at the top, and your foot slips around. What a HUGE shame! Killed me to return. In this same order was a less stable but instantly more comfortable K Swiss Express Light, which would’ve been my second choice but best of the two. Seriously, Adidas? OH, by the way, I take a 10 in every other athletic shoe, but this one ran long, so the 9.5 was perfect.

Roomy toebox
I spent my formative years in tennis wearing Barricades. After a 10-year hiatus, I decided to try the Avacourts.Great toebox shape especially for those with wider feet and bunions. I’m normally a 7 in sneakers, but sized up to 7.5 to account for hard stops while playing tennis. Felt large at first, and required a very short break-in (less than 30 mins of wear). After break-in, shoes felt appropriately sized. Abnormally long tongue but nothing that irritated my ankles during play with tabbed ankle socks.Alleviated knee problems after weeks of playing in cross trainers: nice cushioning and nice traction. No difficulty with lateral movements. Looking forward to playing more in the Avacourts.

Great shoe
I’ve worn Barricades for years and was hesitant to try this style. Was pleasantly surprised. The length of the tongue was worrisome, but posed no issues. These have great cushion, support and roomy toe box. Played three times and so far so good.
