Shoes felt a bit stiff first few times I played, that’s good though, indicated a lot of good support with lateral movement. Now I can tell that with a bit more break in they will be perfect. Second pair of ASICS court shoe that I have purchased. Will buy again

I’ve been a fan of ASICS for years but had to be extra cautious with most styles as they often are made for narrow feet. I also have high arch and bunions. After some research, I tried on Gel Resolution 8 WIDE.I love these so I bought a second pair right away. I play pickleball for 3-4 hours at a time and these shoes, together with my orthodics, are simply awesome for my feet. Shoes are very comfortable and the outer soles give me great traction for both outdoor and indoor court surfaces. I get asked a lot by other players who notice my shoes and I recommend these to them.

Love the Asics Gel Resolution. Perfect in every way. I have narrow flat feet and use an orthotic insole. From the time that I stepped onto the outdoor pickleball court to the time I quit, my feet felt wonderful. I play 2 to 4 hrs sometimes and my feet have never felt so good afterwards. This model is so much better than the Asics that I replaced. May need to purchase another pair to have as backup.

I normally wear size 7.5 regular width for Adidas and Nike. This shoe is narrow in the toe. I finally go with size 8 wide so that I can wear thicker sock.Beside, great color way that fits to my racquet. The red strap under the shoe lace helps to stabilize your toe. In this case, even though you get 1/2 size up, you won’t feel the toe tip is too far.
