Lighter than the Pure Drive, the Babolat Pure Drive Team offers even more manoeuvrability. Its handling is facilitated by a good stability/weight balance that allows you to go for powerful strokes even from the baseline. Suitable for tennis players from beginners to professionals, it is a nice alternative to the standard Pure Drive (as a lighter and faster version of the latter).
The most versatile racket ever designed by Babolat is back! Improved performance in terms of power and control and better manoeuvrability will give you more explosiveness with your shots. Like its predecessors, the Babolat Pure Drive Team will suit tennis players of all levels: from beginners to advanced/pro players.
Adaptable by all styles of play, its stability at impact and the feel it provides will inevitably attract aggressive baseline players who like to dictate rallies with speed and spin. Its FSI Power (Frame String Interaction) technology improves responsiveness on impact with the ball thanks to diamond-shaped eyelets. The sweet spot is higher than with older Pure Drive models and the string pattern has been tightened. The result is amazing with a ball that comes out very alive from the racket. The HTR System technology provides greater rigidity to the racquet and offers better explosiveness when hitting the balls.
In terms of playability, the open 16×19 string pattern of the Babolat Pure Drive Team improves your touch on the ball and the comfort you have when hitting. With the relatively forgiving 645cm² screen, your balls are powerful and you can generate a lot more spin as the strings have enough room to move and ‘brush’ the ball. The neutral balance also facilitates acceleration of the racquet head at the end of the stroke to improve spin.
Babolat has also worked on its racket frame (Elliptic Frame) for more comfort and stability from the baseline. 15 grams lighter than its predecessor, the Babolat Pure Drive Team is more manoeuvrable and, therefore, accessible to a wide range of tennis players. Rather stiff, it’s a real nice combination of power and control. With the SWX Pure Feel technology, the racquet absorbs vibrations (that could interfere with your game) better so that you are able to focus 100% on your goal: victory!
