I train MMA and kick boxing on a concrete floor gym. Based on recommendations I sought out a “hard court” tennis shoe for my concrete floor training and found this model. I could not be more happy with how this hard court tennis shoe works for general training and kick boxing – pivots, side to side foot work, and extra protection for kicking with pointed toes (tennis toe drag feature) have worked great. I am buying a second pair now as I dont want to go looking for this model in a year or two and find its not available.

As a new Pickleball player my coach told me to trade in my running shoes for court shoes. I searched Amazon and Zappos and found many shoes that might work but there was no inventory. I found these in my size and took a gamble on them working. Turns out to be a great court shoe for comfort and fast starts stops and lateral moves. Reasonable price for value.
I bought three pair before they “change” the design next year.I got 13 Narrow— first tennis shoes beside NIKE that fitsThese shoes have flexible narrow mid sole so flexes when wore when taking off high speed— unlike othertennis shoes which are BOATS with hardly any flex when foot moves.VERY MUCH worth a try—- Glad they have NARROW !! Their guidelines for sizing length and width are quite good.Tough bottom wont wear out soon — good combination of high tech parts !!!!

I am impressed with the design and quality. I wear mostly 9.5 M but occasionally a 10 M. So to be on the safe side I ordered 10 M. Too small. Returned them for 10.5 M. Also too small. Returning them as well and ordering 11 M. I am 69 and have never, I repeat, never worn a size 11 shoe. Obviously, I like the look and quality I see so order large and enjoy.Update 1/17/2019 – The size 11 arrived and fit great; very comfortable. Played several games of Pickleball with them last night. They are well cushioned, great grip and feel wonderful. When I would score a point with a good shot they were saying it was my new shoes. I have to upgrade my rating from 4 to 5 star because I am so impressed. But pleased be aware I had to go to 1 and a half sizes larger than normal for them to fit right and not jam my toes.
I wear same brand and model for many years, it keep my feet secure and centered while playing tennis, walking or doing different activities. This tennis shoes is durable and easy to clean with a damp piece of cloth and dish washer soap.

I play pickleball 5 days a week and wore out the same model in a year very comfortable and no twisted ankles as shoe bottoms were meant for court play so ordered the same ones and so far so good I have wide feet and original store was out of stock .
I’ll use this shoes for play tennis specifically. It has a nice grip to get response at the court.I like the quality, I like the brand. It is not a marketing brand. It is a good durable and confortable shoes. This is my first time ordering shoes by internet, Amazon.Unfortunately, by my mistake, I ordered a wrong size. I ordered 11.5 X-Wide. Even I am wide, X-Wide (4E) is too much for me.I requested a return and I have to say I am very impressed how easy it was the whole Amazon return process. Good job Amazon! Amazon has a deal with UPS, just leave the product at the UPS Store (obviously packed), the will do everything for you. Really, super easy.I am re-ordering the same model, the right size 2E.
I’ve been wearing NB shoes for years & I like the fact that they offer different widths (I usually take a 2E). I ordered these to use as actual ‘tennis’ shoes because the 622’s & 856’s that I really like, don’t feel stable enough for a rough game of tennis. These seem to work really well on the court- they feel solid & stable, have moderate arch support (which I prefer- my arches are pretty low, so high arch shoes just hurt), and the 2E width fits as expected. Will buy again.

This is my second pair, having worn the first down beyond the sole in some areas. This shoe is one of the best fitting 800 series in recent memory, having started with the 800, the the 801, 902, 803 and 804. There was no 805 to my knowledge. That is easily over 10 years of tennis playing experience, probably more. For the last series, the 804, the first pair was great. The second pair had quality issues so bad that I had to send it back for quality of the tongue. The tongue on one side was so short that the laces would be at the very edge of the tongue, and I could see the tongue pulling forward leaving the last set of lacing on my socks. The third pair was not much better, but good enough. The later 804 tongues were just too short, and the loop lacing system to cinch the heel tighter was not great, the last set of eyelets being in the wrong place for my foot. The 806 fixes both these issues, with a much longer tongue and a much better loop lacing system for the last set of eyelets, very well placed for extra stability in the heel.Just played 1.5 hours of tennis in them last night out of the box, no break in. They were a very stiff at first, but by the end of the night felt great. I use the New Balance IUSA3810 series insole in this shoe and many other shoes, and this is what makes it a perfect fit for me. The other important thing is this shoe has an adequate toe box to prevent toe cram on fast start, stop and turns.
I’ve always been a NB customer. Toe width is the major reason. NB is one of the few brands that has size 8 1/2 4E and 9 4E widths in stock. When I buy a model that fits perfectly I buy multiple pairs since they always make new models and discontinue older models.
