I have been wearing this style for years. I have a wide foot but a small ankle and find this shoe gives me a wider toe box and I am able to tie it with the extra holes to fit my narrow ankle. I also buy the wide because I use some heavy duty custom orthotics and this shoe holds them perfectly. A great shoe for tennis! Very sturdy and comfortable.

These court shoes are perfect for pickleball. I wear a wide width, and they are hard to find. I am usually a 6.5 or 7 wide. I like to go with a 7 for shoes that will be used for workouts or walks. These did run larger than all of my other size 7 shoes. I put inserts into them, so they were fine. If not, they would have been too loose. There was a noticible difference in size when I placed them next to another pair of New Balance 7W, an Asics 7W and a KSwiss 7 (not wide). These shoes provide amazing support and comfort. They are sturdy and well made. I would absolutely buy another pair when these wear out.

I ordered these in both 5.5 and 6 M, as those are my usual sizes in shoes. I have a pair of New Balance running shoes in a 6 M, and those are more narrow and short than it seems New Balance shoes for tennis. I had ordered another style of New Balance shoes for tennis before this, in a 6 M assuming they’d fit the same as my running shoes of the same brand, and found that New Balance for tennis ran both longer and wider in the toe area. These shoes fit well in Size 5.5 for me. They are wider than I’d like (I don’t like loose shoes, and I’m somewhat afraid that being leather they’ll widen over time), but they fit well now, comfortable right out of the box, and they seem very well made, have a lot of support, and are very classy-looking shoes.

The first pair I ordered was a 7 1/2 D wide. I went up a size because I wanted to add my supportive orthotic insole. They were VERY wide and too big even with a sports orthotic insole. I sent them back and got a 7DD at a local wide foot store, after the salesperson measured my foot and told me I was a DD width. Not so. Tried to wear them with my orthotic and my heel slid all over the place. Tried cinching them down with a “runner’s” tie, but they still wouldn’t work on the court. I took them back and found out that the Wide Foot Store” doesn’t carry a “D” (single wide width). Now I know why they sold me the DD.Aaagggghhhhh! Third time was the charm….these shoes are hard to find in women’s 7D, so I tried again from Amazon Prime. This time they showed up in a couple days and are the perfect fit with my favorite orthotic. I love them so much I hate to take them off. Corrects my over-pronation. Gives me sure-footed stability and support on the court. No toe jam or inflamed bunion. I highly recommend to any woman who has foot and knee problems.FYI*** Just buy your regular size and add your favorite orthotic insert, since they come with a flimsy flat piece of nothing inside that removes easily. These shoes have a roomy toe box even in regular M.Expensive, but worth every penny in comfort and durability.

I have a very, very narrow foot. NB is the only company that makes shoes narrow enough for me to play tennis. I use my own inserts for improved arch support. It’s getting harder and harder to find these shoes. One size does not fit all!

These shoes are the best. These have a hard plastic core in the heal that provides a support that doesn’t hurt my feet, but prevents the sides of the shoes from breaking down. If you are a person who breaks down the side of shoes by your ankle rolling out, these are the shoes for you. They are just a little hard to find. Good Leather, comes in XX-WIDE. Lots of room for your toes.

I bought a half size up based on the reviews and am so happy with these shoes. I replaced the insoles with good supporting replacement insoleshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013I2IC6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1and the shoes are perfect. I even bought another pair for when these wear out (I play a lot of tennis.)

I just ordered my second pair of these shoes. After three years of wearing them three times a week, the tread was pretty much worn off. The tops are still in good shape so I can wear them for out and about. Good support and great fit. My husband has worn the men’s version for years because of the excellent support they give his flat feet.

These shoes have been the only tennis shoes that I have bought for 10years. I play tennis at least 5/6 times per week. I also use these shoes as general/all around sneakers. My podiatrist recommended them for me after my bunion surgeries and I have had such success with them I was compelled to write this review. They absolutely support and stabilize your feet, they help reduce pronation as you move cushion and help with surefooted traction. This shoe is recommended for flat arch foot types, which I am. I absolutely love them. I have had no, let me say that again NO, problem with my feet, knees or ankles for all these years playing tennis so often, due to them and my orthotic inserts.

I’ve been wearing these for years and just ordered two more pairs. I have a very narrow foot and find that these are one of the few tennis sneakers offered in a 2A width. Very sturdy and supportive. Fabulous for tennis!
